I look upon a pigeon flock
And I am saddened by the sight
Of those who mindlessly walk
Through them as if they have the right
To cause mayhem.

I feel for those small city birds,
Every living thing should be loved.
Yet the opinion put to words
So oft is that they should be shoved
So far away.
