All Will Be Well

In the beginning there was Love
And this love was everything.
Then God spoke from high above
"Let creation come forth and sing
For the joy of its formation."

God created much to entice
Wonder at what He had made.
On Earth He made a paradise
Where He placed Man who He forbade
Little and gave a great lifespan.

But then Man brought sin to the Earth,
He vacated God from his heart,
And denied the world of its worth.
Yet God's love would still take part
In seeking to turn bad men good.

God's Son came down from heaven
And was born upon the face of
That sad place to be its leaven.
He preached on everything that love
Commanded and the years wore on.

He was hung on a wooden cross,
His breath left Him, and He perished.
He could not stay in total loss,
Thus death lay thoroughly vanquished,
And Christ rose as the Gospels say.

In the end there will be love
And this love will be all in all.
God has descended as a dove
Upon us to tell and recall
This good message: all will be well.
